How well do you know those around you? You may think, “What difference does it make?” Jesus has a lot to say about those who do not take the time to get to know Him.

Our lives are in perpetual motion. There is nothing steady, nor anything that will not be touched by some sort of change during the course of a lifetime.

So, is the only constant thing we have in life is change?

“Work while it is day. For the night comes when no man can work.”

Make haste! There is a wedding you have been invited to, but are prepared and ready to enter into the banquet hall?

Waiting to hear from the Lord can be nerve racking. How are you supposed to just sit still? You’ve got things to do and places to go. Why won’t He just tell you already, what you’re supposed to be doing?

Confusion, chaos, struggle, anxiety, fear, depression. We live in a world packed with storms raging around us. How can we find a sense of tranquility and peace within all the noise? It’s all in your mind.

We all have brokenness in our lives. Some are shattered in tiny pieces and others are merely cracked. Regardless of the level of destruction, do you believe Jesus can use what we believe to be trash?

When we refuse to follow the teachings of the scriptures, sickness sets in, and the prognosis is not good.

Gaze on the splendor of the King. Pay attention to the Lamb Who is seated on the throne. Fix your gaze on the face of the One Who loves you and formed you. Be amazed!

Sometimes it’s easy to drift in our faith journey. When that happens, how do we find our way back to the beginning? How do we come back to our First Love?

You are never too old to learn. At least, that should be your mindset. We have been given an assignment from the Lord, but do we fully understand how to execute and complete our mission?

How do we deal with a world that is overwhelming our senses daily?

A home feels complete once the curtains go up, but that is normally the last thing to take care of when moving into a new house. It’s almost like we are unsure if we want to stay. This is also how we can treat our relationship with Jesus.

We live in a blessed nation, with wonderful freedoms. We serve a God, Who gave His everything for our eternal souls.

But do we take time to reflect on these truths and show gratitude?

The faithfulness of God is something we do not deny in public conversation, but the battle can rage within our mind. As we continue our discussion of Abraham, I pray you are challenged to a new level of faith.

Sometimes we hold on to things that are poison, completely convinced it is what we need. When God tells you to release something, it will always be for your ultimate good.

This week’s post may be short and sweet, but it’s a great reminder of the practice of rest and how we need to incorporate it into our routines.

Time moves swiftly and if we do not pay attention, we can miss our entire purpose. What happens when we slow down, think about the decisions we make here and now, and how the ripples will effect future generations?
