Brandy Daugherty was born and raised in the soft, rolling hills of western Kentucky. A first born, high energy little bundle with a passion for life, her love of writing began at a young age, when she would fill her days crafting stories, poems and soaking in a good book.

She quickly learned, as she grew, that words have power and the ability to radically change your life in a moment. Brandy experienced this transformational power when the words, “Will you marry me” came from the lips of the most remarkable man she had ever encountered, changing her life in the most glorious way. With almost three decades lived together and three beautiful children to boast about, the Lord has most certainly blessed her. At times, even words fail to express and fall short in painting the picture of the goodness that has blossomed over the years, but Brandy has tucked away gratitude deep within her heart, so as not to taint the beautiful gift she as been given.

The passion for writing has never waned within her and the deep affection for books remains strong all these years.
